💦 Importance Of BCAA’s 💦
Our BCAA’s not only taste amazing, but they also have many incredible benefits! Here’s why you should take them
Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA’s for short) make up 35% of your muscle mass. They are an essential building block of the human body and must be present for molecular muscle growth and development to occur
There are 8 essential amino acids (meaning the human body cannot naturally produce them) and the rest are non-essential (meaning the body can produce them with proper diet and nutrition).
During periods of high intensity weight training the body goes into what is called a "highly catabolic state”. While your body is in this condition,!glycogen stores are reducing quickly. The liver in turn synthesizes glucose through a conversion of a non-essential amino acid called L-Alanine. Alanine is responsible for a majority of the amino acids released during a workout.
BCAA’s are ultimately released as a signal to the body to stop protein synthesis in the muscles. The use of BCAA’s can be very beneficial during times of high intensity, and can have a profound affect on muscle development and gains. •
