Day 1-3 of a month reset. Yup, even I need to do resets and periods of focus/elimination. I don't love calling it a "reset", but I like it better than the word cleanse or diet.
It's more like a nourishment series, where there is the taking away component but it's far more about what you're specifically adding in and why.
This is something I take clients through after we've reviewed bloodwork results with their physician/nutritionist, as each person's needs are different, even though there is a general baseline anyone could follow if they aren't working with me for specifics.
Right now I'm working towards kicking the ass of two things going on with my health, my pituitary tumor causing havoc on my hormones and what I believe is a new symptom of that adventure: the return of chronic hives.
I had a strong 8 months of showing signs of improvement, but then I let a thing slip here (coffee) and another there (less fresh/whole foods more substitute meals) and another (missed appts of bodywork and therapy) and let my supplements run out and now I'm feeling like shit on a stick.
I hope this shows you that even the pros are less than perfect and have their own struggles while we're out there helping others.
Here's the menu for Day 1-3, if you dig this and want me to share each phase with you in greater detail drop a comment below.
Wild Thing Bone Broth, not your average broth. Preserved Lemons w/ Black Seeds. Both recipes on my website. Sauteed Shiitake Mushrooms. Broccoli Sprouts. Roasted Beets. Probiotics. CBD infused MCT Oil. Lots of water and healing (caffeine free) tea.
After this round, I'll add in more foods/ingredients and supplements but will stay clear of grains, dairy, soy, caffeine, and sugar for the full month.
May digestive and hormonal peace be with you. 🖖🏽#eatplaycrush
