I tried pedal commander and it works. It eliminates the dead spot in pedal response when the driver puts foot to the pedal. Basically the gas pedal is now more sensitive. You can adjust the level of sensitivity to 36 different settings.
The Bluetooth app is a nice feature, with it you are able to make the adjustments right from your phone and they are instant.
I preferred City+1 or City+2 setting. My Tacoma is a V6 automatic and I think that's the best fit for the pedal commander. Manual transmission Tacomas would likely not experience much difference in driving experience.
