Saw sooo many reviews for these Juno & Co sponges that I preordered two. I think they're onto something here. The pricing was SO affordable and the shipping too. Can’t wait to get them in 😍.
⋆ The Juno & Co has 2 microfiber sponges, I don’t believe there is a difference other than the shape.
⋆ Retails for $6.00 (not including shipping, but I found a code online that gave me free shipping)
⋆ Covered in little hairs that claims to allow this sponge to be used wet/dry and in a similar way you use a brush.
Thoughts compared to a Beauty Blender:
⋆ You can kind of see in the video, but especially in person it was VERY obvious that the JUNO sponge didn’t soak up nearly as much product as my beauty blender did and gave a more full coverage appearance ⋆ The JUNO sponge is slightly larger, which can be a positive and a negative but I personally like that
⋆ I like the shape of the beauty blender better, but I don’t dislike the shape of the JUNO sponge and I love that they offer two different shapes
⋆ Beauty Blenders retail for $20 ....... I’ll leave that there.
PROS & CONS:
⋆ Does as is claimed, doesn’t soak up nearly as much product and gives a fuller coverage & flawless appearance.
⋆ Comes in 2 shapes so you can find which one you prefer.
⋆ Literally is $6.
The ONLY thing I noticed and am concerned about: If you have ever used a brush to apply a liquid product you know the bristles start to clump together.
I used this sponge for about a week before posting this and noticed the same thing start to happen to the little hairs that cover the sponge. That being said, this may just mean you have to wash the sponge more often to get the same flawless application (which lets be real we probably should be doing that anyway).
That was a lot of info but that’s what I’m here for! Overall I will absolutely be repurchasing the JUNO sponge in the future and tossing my Beauty Blender, It performs better and is ridiculously more affordable. 12/10 would recommend!
That’s how my blue velvet sponge looks now. Although I do agree that these “microfiber fusion” sponges are not bad per se, they are not for everyone.
Just like the velvet sponge I really enjoy the texture and application of the Microfiber Fusion Sponge sponge.
Because this sponge has a side that’s flat this is ideal for applying powder when I’m either setting &/or baking under my eyes or beneath my contour.
If you haven’t tried either the Microfiber Fusion Sponge or the Microfiber Velvet Sponge from Juno & Co, I highly recommend that you do.
These babies are very affordable. I got the Microfiber 4Ever sponge bundle for $18 and they also had a free shipping promotion going on so I got shipping for free which was super awesome! I have used only the Microfiber Velvet Sponge(both wet and dry) and I have to say I’m pretty impressed! 👌🏼.
When I used it wet for my foundation I found that it is definitely more firm than my OG Beauty Blender but it doesn’t soak in as much product, so I used less foundation than I usually do. I also used it wet to apply my loose powder to set my face and it blended the powder out beautifully! I didn’t have to go over my face with a brush like I normally would, so that is a time saver!
I have also used this sponge dry to apply blush and highlighter. I wasn’t a fan because it applied a very light layer, and I’m definitely a full coverage everything kind of gal 💁🏼♀️. But if you are looking for subtle blush/highlighter, it would be perfect for that!
Overall I really like these sponges. Much more affordable than an actual beauty blender, I’m just waiting to see how long they will last. If you haven’t tried these sponges yet, I would definitely recommend you do! Super affordable and they do the job perfectly.
I FINALLY got my hands on these!! These are not like any ordinary sponge, these are MICROFIBER sponges and let me start off by saying, THEY. ARE. AMAZING! ON TOP OF THAT, THEY ARE ONLY $6!
Seriously the best beauty sponge I’ve ever used, and it’s only $6.
I'm in love with this sponge from Juno & Co! I was a bit hesitant about the sponge because I have textured skin and large pores, but I looove it!
This blender performed beautifully! it works very well you can wet it or even use it dry. It applied my Foundation flawlessly.
I was amazed it felt really awkward when I use it because of the fuzziness that the Velvet gave, but overall this is probably the coolest blender I have ever used.
I am so happy I purchased it and for only $6.99 OMG say what!
I've seen NikkieTutorials using Juno & Co's microfiber velvet sponge so I bought it!
It claims to leave a “more natural, air-brushed foundation finish” & honestly, It looks bomb ASF! I was so impressed, the microfiber bristles seem to really get into your pores, which gives it that flawless look.
