We’re Hiring: Fast Food Speed Testers

Are you a junk food junkie? Help us put the ‘fast’ in fast food and get paid to eat in your favourite restaurant chains.

We’ve all been sitting in a drive-thru queue or waiting on our food delivery for longer than we wanted, thinking to ourselves ‘isn’t this meant to be fast food?’. In fact, the wait times are getting longer and customer satisfaction has dropped over the last year*.

The convenience aspect of fast food is what makes it such a popular meal choice for so many of us, and with over 183,500 fast food restaurants around the country**, we certainly aren’t short of options. When we’re busy with work or running errands, sometimes finding the time to cook a family dinner can be almost impossible. This is where grabbing a quick bite to eat from a drive-thru or a burger joint comes in handy, but when we want fast food, we don’t expect to wait.

We need your help, to put the ‘fast’ in fast food!

We’re looking for a crack-team of foodies to put our favourite quick service restaurant chains to the test, before crowning ‘America’s fastest food’. Successful applicants will need to travel around their local area, visiting 10 of the top US fast food chains and recording the speed of service, from payment to plate. A 350 word written review will need to be submitted for each eatery, documenting the food quality and menu availability, along with recording the speed of service from payment to plate.

We are offering each member of the newly formed team a total salary of $500 plus up to $30 in food expenses for two weeks worth of testing.

If you are aged 21 or over, have a full driving licence, and are available to visit 10 fast food establishments between the 15th August and 28th August, this could be just the role for you! Fill in the application form below to be in with a chance of landing this dream role!

Applications close on the 5th August. Good luck!
